Baby Fever.

Okay guys, time for some honesty - baby fever - let's talk about it.  I don't mean to scare anyone (or get anyone's hopes up either) but I'm feeling the fever creeping up on me.  When does it usually hit?  When did it (or didn't it) hit you?

My guess is that my age (coming up on 27) is a normal time to get the fever and it is absolutely exacerbated by so many dear friends having babies.  Right?  I was talking to my grandmother the other day and she said, "how old are you, Annie?" and I told her and she said "goodness!  I had five children by the time I was your age."

And I was almost jealous.

Just kidding.

(but really, I'd love to hear your thoughts)

I was born with baby fever.

Held off until I was 27, after 6 years of marriage.

Those are such sweet pictures! I feel weird saying this but I have NEVER had baby fever and I am now about to have one in just a few short months!! I am very excited and can't wait. You should have one too so they can be best friends!!

Oh goodness, I have baby fever off and on these days. (I'm turning 23 in a few days) I'm constantly surrounded by little kids though, so, I get my fix. And when I think about losing all of that precious sleep/spontaneity in life...I don't feel so feverish:-) xoxo

I didn't really have baby fever. I was mid-20s and living in a new town because of my husband's job. People said, "you should have kids." I said, "What? because I'm bored and lonely, I should have a baby? Not according to my philosophy." So, I waited until I had a good job I gave up, but I felt the time was right for us (28). Of course, now I have grandbaby fever bad, but can't do anything about that!

St. John was definitely a surprise. I didn't think I would be ready at 23, and I never anticipated having children that young, but looking back I can't imagine it any differently. Having children is definitely one of the most rewarding challenges of your life. I never thought I could be in charge of someone's life 24 hours a day...seems way too daunting for anyone, but somehow it happens. Thankfully, you love your own more than any other kids. I don't consider myself a baby person at all, but I love mine more than life itself.
