I'm popping in for a second, embarrassed and ashamed at my extended absence to apologize to you for again not having the time to write to tell you about all of the following delicious food stories:
1. John's outrageously mouthwatering birthday cake.
2. the French classic, Ratatouille, with slow roasted summer vegetables
3. the happiest, tastiest summer parfait in the world

I'm going to have to be the lone comment-dissenter here and vote for the parfait . . . thanks for letting us vote :-) Also, I keep thinking about you as I eat breakfast, enjoying mom's coffeecake lately, which she makes with different fruits each time. it is so incredibly delicious, and a simple recipe: would you like it?

Since I already tasted the mouthwatering birthday cake, thinking about it right now is actually making my mouth water. I vote for the Ratatouille! but I will also be very happy if the parfait wins.
I'm more of a sweet tooth, I'll go for the parfait! I'll be glad with any of the 3 that are there.
